Stage of the Camino de la Lana through the interior mountains of Albacete. The 21 km run through an undulating landscape between pine forests, Mediterranean scrubland and cereal fields. Alatoz is a small town of Albacete in the heart of the mountain landscape, with a rural center and agricultural tradition. A stage of great solitude.
This long stage connects the capital of Galicia with the Virgin of Barca sanctuary, a challenge for highly prepared cyclists or pilgrims. The route crosses interior Galicia, in a "break-neck" profile very demanding. It passes through Negreira and Olveiroa, where the detour towards the north is taken. The reward is arrival at the Costa da Morte and the mystical sanctuary of Muxía, nestled among rocks by the braving sea.
