This stage continues through the Natural Park of the Upper Valley of Chevreuse, on a beautiful route. The path traverses the immense forest of Rambouillet, one of France's most important forests. It is a day to enjoy nature in its purest form and the solitude of the road. Arrival at Rambouillet, a city with an impressive castle that was royal and presidential residence, is a monumental end to the stage. This stage combines immersion in nature with the richness of France's history.
The Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse to Rambouillet stage is a 21km journey that ventures into the vast forest of Rambouillet. The trail starts in Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (75m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Rambouillet (160m). The route traverses a beautiful landscape, with oak and beech forests, offering a total immersion experience in nature. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to appreciate the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival at Rambouillet is a moment of great excitement. The city, with its impressive castle, royal residence and presidential seat, is an architectural gem. Its heritage and lively atmosphere make it one of the most important stops on the route.
