Stage Description
Stage that ends in Bourges, the historic city of the Berry famous for its impressive cathedral of Saint-Étienne (12th-13th centuries), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the masterpieces of French classical Gothic. Its 21 km or so cross the Berry countryside. Bourges is also home to the Palais Jacques-Cœur, residence of the famous royal financier, and to a well-preserved medieval historic centre.
