Stage of the Camino
Stage Description
The final stage of the Via Turonensis before Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The roughly 25 km cross the French Basque Country (Pays Basque) through the valleys of Soule and Basse-Navarre. Ostabat is the 'Capital of the Ways', being the historic meeting point of the three great French routes (Tours, Vezelay and Le Puy), the threshold of Roncesvalles.
