The Casamari to Arpino stage is a 21.1 km journey that enters the historic region of Ciociaria. The route starts from the Abbey of Casamari (320 m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle ascent towards Arpino (447 m). The path traverses a beautiful landscape, with hills, olive groves, and vineyards. It is an enjoyable walk that allows you to appreciate the scenery and arrive in time to explore the destination city. Arpino, birthplace of Cicero and Cayo Mario, is a city with an impressive heritage. Its acropolis, with its Cyclopean walls, is one of Italy's most important. Its old town, with its churches and palaces, invites a peaceful stroll. It is a stage that combines gentle exercise with rich historical experience, the perfect balance in the Camino de San Benedetto.
