Stage Description
First cycling stage of the Camino del Norte from the border. The 47 km link Irun with Zarautz passing through San Sebastian and the spectacular scenery of the coast of Gipuzkoa. The route combines greenways (Plazaola) with coastal stretches, bordering beaches such as La Concha (Donostia) and Orio. Zarautz, famous for its beach of more than 2 km and for surfing, is a classic Basque summer destination.
