Stage Description
This stage of the Maestrazgo links Morella (one of the best preserved medieval villages in Spain, declared a historic-artistic site, with its impressive castle) with Zorita del Maestrazgo. The 21 km descend from the 1,000 m of Morella to the valley of the Bergantes along ancient bridle paths. The landscape is typical of the Maestrazgo, with farmhouses, sheepfolds and stony fields.
