Stage Description
From Morgade, the path continues its descent towards the valley of the River Miño. After passing the legendary 100-kilometre milestone in the hamlet of Ferreiros, the trail offers spectacular views before a steep descent leading down to the striking Belesar reservoir and the historic town of Portomarín.
Esta etapa es breve pero cargada de simbolismo, ya que atraviesa el punto que marca los últimos 100 km a Santiago. Tras dejar Morgade, se pasa por Ferreiros y se inicia un descenso continuado. El momento culminante es la vista del río Miño y el puente que da entrada a Portomarín. La villa, reconstruida piedra a piedra en lo alto tras la inundación del antiguo pueblo por el embalse, recibe al peregrino con su imponente iglesia-fortaleza de San Nicolás.
