Stage Description

Stage of the Camino de Sagunto that ends in Teruel, capital of the most depopulated province in Spain. Its 23 km or so descend gently along the valley of the Turia. Teruel is famous for its impressive Mudéjar heritage (a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the four Mudéjar towers of San Salvador, San Martín, San Pedro and the cathedral), for the Amantes de Teruel and for the splendid neo-Mudéjar staircase on the plaza de la Estación.
