Stage Description
This long stage continues bordering Lake Geneva, on a mostly flat route. The road passes through the famous vineyards of La Côte, offering a beautiful landscape. It's a day to enjoy the wine-vineyard scenery and lake views. Arrival in Gland, a quiet residential town, is a functional end of stage.
The Morges to Gland stage is a 27-kilometer long journey that continues the route along Lake Geneva's shoreline. The path starts in Morges (373 m) and follows a mostly flat profile, with some undulations, until the town of Gland (415 m). The route passes through La Côte vineyards, passing by charming villages such as Saint-Prex, with its medieval burg. It is a long but pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the scenery and the tranquility of the surroundings. Arrival in Gland, a peaceful residential town, is a functional endpoint, with all necessary services for pilgrims. Despite its length, this stage is rewarding due to the beauty of the landscape and the possibility of visiting medieval gems along the route.
