Stage Description

This stage enters the Manchegan plain. The profile is completely flat. The landscape is that of the tableland in its maximum expression: infinite horizons, fields of grain and vineyards. It's a day of great solitude and austere beauty, ideal for introspection. Arrival at Higueruela, a small Manchego town, offers a quiet and authentic rest.
The stage between Almansa and Higueruela is an immersion in the Manchegan plain. The profile is completely flat, and the road advances along dirt tracks that get lost in the horizon. The landscape is of austere beauty, with fields of grain and vineyards. It's a stage of great solitude, ideal for meditation. Arrival at Higueruela, a small town in Albacete province, marks the end of the stage. Its tranquil atmosphere and authenticity offer a well-deserved rest to the pilgrim.
