This long stage is an authentic challenge that leaves Asturias to enter Galicia. The route is a continuous up and down through the coastal plain, with spectacular views of the sea. It's a day of great beauty and physical demand. Arrival in Ribadeo, a noble town on the Eo estuary, is a monumental reward.
The Luarca to Ribadeo stage is a long 45-kilometer journey that says goodbye to Asturias to enter Galicia. The route starts in Luarca (10 m) and follows an undulating profile, with a gentle overall ascent towards Ribadeo (20 m). The route traverses a beautiful landscape, with the coastal plain and spectacular views of the sea. It is an demanding walk due to its length, but it rewards with the beauty of its scenery and the grandeur of the destination. Arrival in Ribadeo, a noble village on the Eo estuary, is a moment of great emotion.
