Stage Description

The destination is the city of Elda, an important industrial center famous for its shoe production. The city offers all the necessary services for the pilgrim.
The stage that joins Orito with Elda is a wavy profile journey that traverses the Vinalopó valley. The landscape is dominated by vineyards of table grapes and fields of cultivation. It passes through localities such as Monforte del Cid. The arrival in Elda, one of the most important cities in the province, is the end of the stage. Elda, along with its neighboring Petrer, forms an important industrial nucleus, known as the capital of women's shoes. The city has an interesting Shoe Museum and a heritage that includes the remains of its castle. It is a functional stop with a complete range of services.
