Alboraya is a municipality in the North Orchard region, practically united to the city of Valencia. It is worldwide famous for being the birthplace of horchata, the delicious drink made from chufa. For pilgrims on the Levante Way, it's an indispensable gastronomic stop. The landscape is dominated by chufa fields, and the locality is dotted with traditional horchaterías where you can taste the product in its purest form. Additionally, its proximity to the sea offers beaches like La Patacona. It's a perfect place for a sweet and refreshing break, discovering the authentic flavor of Valencian orchard before continuing on the route into the interior.
