Alcanadre is a locality in Lower La Rioja, a charming stop on the Camino Jacobeo del Ebro. In its surroundings are the "Arcos of Alcanadre", remains of an ancient Roman aqueduct, which is its main historical hallmark. The village, nestled in a vineyard landscape, offers the pilgrim the opportunity to know the wines of the region. Its church of Saint Mary and the Bottle Hill, with its excavated cellars, complete the visit. It's an ideal stage for a quiet rest, enjoying history, wine and Riojan landscape, before arriving at the capital, Logroño.
