Stage Description
This is a short and flat stage that continues along Don Quixote's route. The landscape is that of the Manchegan plain, with its vineyards and characteristic windmills on the horizon. It is a transition day, allowing for a relaxed walk. Arrival in Miguel Esteban, known as "the capital of the plain", offers an authentic stage end in the heart of La Mancha.
The stage that joins El Toboso with Miguel Esteban is a short and very favorable profile. The road continues to flow through the Mancha plain, in a landscape of vineyards and cereal fields. In the horizon, it's possible to see the silhouettes of windmills, the universal icon of La Mancha. It's an stage for enjoying the tranquility of the countryside and the light of the region. The arrival at Miguel Esteban, already in the province of Toledo, is the end of the stage. This town, known as "the capital of the plain", has an interesting heritage, such as its San Andrés Apóstol church. It's a stop with a strong flavor of Manchegan village.
