Stage Description

This 21.9 km stage is a medium-difficulty route that connects the gastronomic village of Lalín with the town of Silleda. The path traverses a rural landscape of hills, forests and riverbanks, typical of inland Galicia. It's an undulating profile journey that, without being excessively demanding, puts the pilgrim to the test. Arrival in Silleda, an important service center, offers the walker all the necessary facilities for rest and replenishing energy.
This journey takes place in the interior of Pontevedra province, connecting two important towns. Starting from Lalín, known for its cuisine, the route enters a natural environment characterized by gentle hills, dense forests and passage alongside small streams. Although it does not present large continuous slopes, the undulating terrain and distance classify it as of medium difficulty. A notable point of interest is the detour to the Monastery of Carboeiro, a Romanesque Cistercian jewel in a spectacular natural setting. The arrival at Silleda offers pilgrims services and connection with an important fair and events center, providing a contrast with the tranquility of the route.
