Lalín

Lalín, the capital of Deza's comarca, presents itself on the Camino de Invierno as a strategic stop and above all, gastronomic. Known as "Kilometer Zero" of Galicia for its central location, it is worldwide famous for its exquisite "Cocido de Lalín", a feast for the palate that every pilgrim should try to replenish their strength. The stage leading to this village traverses the rural landscape of Pontevedra's interior, a green Galicia with forests and small villages.
