Discover Gotarrendura

Gotarrendura is a small village in the autonomous community of Castile and León with immense spiritual importance as it is the birthplace of the mother of Saint Teresa of Jesus and where the saint spent long periods of her childhood. For pilgrims, it's a stop that invites reflection and connection to the roots of one of the great mystics of the Church. You can visit the dovecote where the saint played and the church where her parents got married. The village, with a rural character, offers a peaceful atmosphere. It is an intermediate stage for an introspective rest, in the heart of the La Moraña region, the land of Saint Teresa.
