La Caridad

Charity is the capital of El Franco council, a dynamic village that functions as an important service centre on the westernmost coast of Asturias. For the pilgrim of the North Way, it is the last major stop in the Principality before crossing the Saints' Bridge and entering Galicia. The locality offers a full range of accommodation, restaurants and shops, ideal for comfortable rest and preparation for the change of region. Although its character is more functional, there are beautiful beaches such as Pormenande or Porcía nearby. A strategic and welcoming stop on the final stretch of Asturian coastline.
