Discover Ribadeo

Ribadeo, a noble village in the Luceña coast of Galicia, is the entry point for pilgrims who walk along the North Way. Situated on the Galician shore of the Eo estuary, which forms a natural border with Asturias, it offers monumental and landscape welcoming. The village is famous for its Indian architecture, with houses and palaces built by emigrants who made their fortune in America, that can be admired during an enjoyable stroll through its old town. The Bridge of the Saints, which unites Galicia and Asturias, is an iconic image of arrival to the locality. However, its main tourist attraction is the proximity of the world-famous Cathedral Beach, a natural wonder of arches and rocky caves that can be visited during low tide. For pilgrims, Ribadeo is an important center for services and the start of the countdown towards Santiago. Galician hospitality is present, and its cuisine, based on products from the estuary and sea, is excellent. It's an unforgettable final stage that marks the beginning of the final stretch in Galicia.
