Stage of the Camino
Stage Description
Leaving behind the monumental Toledo, this stage enters the comarca of the Montes de Toledo. The profile is a continuous rise and fall through an olive landscape. It's a day of great beauty that brings the pilgrim back to the tranquility of the Castilian countryside. Arrival in Mascaraque, a small town dominated by its medieval castle, offers a final stage with a great taste of history.
This stage is a journey to the heart of Don Quixote's La Mancha. The route is flat and monotonous at times, a landscape of cereal fields and vineyards. Arrival in Socuéllamos, a village with a rich heritage and great Jacobean tradition, is an end-of-stage finale with charm. It's a day to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and universal literature.
