Vilalba is the capital of the Lucense region of Terra Chá and a key stop on the Camino del Norte. This dynamic town offers pilgrims a full range of services in an environment with a rich historical legacy. Its symbol is the imposing Tower of Tribute from the old Andrade castle, now Parador de Turismo. Vilalba is also an important gastronomic center, famous for its San Simón da Costa cheese and capon.
