After the grandeur of San Clemente, this stage enters again into the Manchegan plain. It is a moderate distance walk with no inclines, that passes through a landscape of vineyards and garlic fields. The path is quiet and allows for comfortable walking. Arrival in Las Pedroñeras, known worldwide as "The Garlic Capital", offers an unique gastronomic and cultural experience. The pilgrim can learn everything about the cultivation of purple garlic and taste local cuisine. This stage combines the tranquility of the countryside with a delicious and original finish.
The stage from San Clemente to Las Pedroñeras is a 23.6 km journey that continues the route through the vast plains of Conquense Mancha. The road starts at the monumental San Clemente (735 m) and enters a landscape dominated by vineyards, and as you progress, by characteristic garlic fields that give fame to the destination town. The profile of the stage is completely flat, with no technical difficulty, allowing for a relaxed and constant walk. The route follows dirt tracks and rural roads, in an environment of great amplitude and open horizons.
