Markina-Xemein

Markina-Xemein is a historic Basque village that represents the essence of the interior of the Basque Country. Considered the "University of Basque Pelota", its frontón is a temple of this sport. For the pilgrim following the interior variant of the Camino del Norte, it is a fundamental stop.
